Nicky is a NYC based recording engineer and producer. She is always excited to jump into the unknown and try something new. She believes that opportunity is usually hidden and one has to do the unexpected to find it; but when one finally does, it will have been well worth the search.
Nicky is an alumnus of the New Studio on Broadway at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she has studied with notable faculty such as Kent Gash, Kenneth Noel Mitchell, Olympia Dukakis, Orlando Pabotoy, Barbara Tirrell, Michael McElroy, Kurt Robinson, Byron Easley, and more. At NSB, she has participated in productions such as The World in the Moon (Dir. Orlando Pabotoy), Machinal (Dir. Stephanie J. Weeks), Medusa (Dir. Mia Sommese), and Irene (Dir. Brian Hill) as well as other workshops and readings of new musicals. Some of her other roles include Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Anything Goes (Erma), American Idiot (Alysha), A Chorus Line (Maggie) and more.
After graduating from NYU, Nicky has been producing and arranging for a cappella groups. She has been arranging and singing in a cappella groups since 2010. Nicky was the Music Director of the NYU Cleftomaniacs, the only all female a cappella group at NYU, VICE A Cappella, and currently, High Notes A Cappella. Nicky had the honor of receiving the award for “Outstanding Arrangement” at the 2019 ICCA Northeast Quarter Finals as well as the CARA Award for Best Female Collegiate Arrangement 2020. Nicky works with notable A Cappella Performers/Producers such as Peter Hollens (2.81 Million Youtube Subcribers) and Mel Daneke (Viridian Productions). In the future, Nicky hopes to continue producing a cappella albums for groups all over the country.
Nicky also producers for singer/songwriters such as Sarah Lipe and Abby Housberg. She also produces for several musical theatre projects with Kathryn Cole Productions including The Pyramid: Dance Moms Musical Parody.
